This is the second time I've been for a spa day. Staff are attentive and helpful. The hotel is clean and tidy. Food is divine. Service is first class. Worth every penny
Great country club that’s open the the public. Tucked away just outside Liphook village(growing in to a very popular commuter town) Prices are on the high side, but that keeps their visitors and guests mostly local and within their target audience. Original just a golf club this is now vastly expanded to include a spa, gym and a fantastic sports bar. The atmosphere is welcoming with a touch of class and the service is one of high quality.

Superb spa day in beautiful surroundings . Staff all courteous and helpful I have been to many spas and this is the best spa I have been to. There is a room just alongside the 25 metre pool, that has 10 heated water beds to relax and snooze on. Other relaxing beds and chairs around pool. Several exercise classes are available and a gym as well as a bicycle hiring option, but I only used the pool. Treatments were superb and I would highly recommend the 'spa heaven cocoon' with Ericka, a very friendly and excellent therapist. There is a lift from the ground floor up to the treatment rooms for anyone with mobility issues : ). The changing rooms have adequate space with hundreds of lockers, only two private changing cubicles and several showers, there was a water pressure drop whilst I showered but it was not major. A buffet lunch was included and was extensive, with salads, seafood, chicken pasta, fresh fruit and bottles of purified water on each table. The central buffet selection would have been enough, but then a chef appeared to one side cooking your choice of his selection of pastas. The orangery is lovely and overlooks a decking area with seating and views to the magnificent lake, which the property is nestled by. It is in the Orangery that you have the welcome breakfast of bagels with smoked salmon and coffee. After lunch there was a selection of indulgent cakes and coffee available to purchase. My only slightly less favourable observation was the peeling paint on the ceiling of the Orangery but that is minor and certainly did not spoil a very relaxing and enjoyable day. If only it was nearer me I would definitely join their leisure club , but will be returning!
There were lots of little things that could have made the whole experience a lot better / smoother. The restaurant staff were very slow and you had to ask them several times for the same thing, the class timetables on the fitness reception desk were not up to date and one of the demos got cancelled when we got there, but there was no explanation why. My massage was overpriced and a bit weak to be honest. I called the fitness desk from my room on three different occasions to try to book classes but nobody picked up. The decor in parts of the resort was quite dated and needed a bit of a revamp. The food was pretty good though and I enjoyed several of the classes. I just think that the amount of money you are spending to be there for a couple of days, there is definitely some room for improvement.

This was a great stopping point on the way south. A very warm welcome from the landlord. A decent range of sandwiches and hot food. All very tasty. A tad pricey, but not unreasonable. Lots of space to dine outside in the garden or on the terrace.
1st class. Service, food, drink, decor & ambience. Wouldn't drive past this one folks!

What an awesome pub! Fantastic staff & service. The atmosphere was great. Warm & cosy. Really good layout. Would thoroughly recommend. Enjoy!
One of my favourite country pubs. Excellent food, very friendly service and wonderful outside space. Definitely worth a visit, even though it is a 45 minute drive over!!
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
